Hi!  I’m Lisa.  You probably knew that already.

I would like to fancy myself a world class chef, accomplished seamstress, interior decorator, photographer, and perfect mother and housewife.  In reality, I’m really just a pretty decent copy-cat. I would never refer to myself as “talented;” it’s more like “creative.”  Mostly, I’m just good at learning from my mistakes.

The hubs and I’s latest move has taken us to the glorious promised-land of Ohio.  We are bracing ourselves for another move – to Colorado (holla!!), so now we are busy remodeling bathrooms, kitchens and replacing dated 70’s fixtures in our split level abode so we can unload this piece of real estate for a decent price.  Even the smallest of these tasks is a pain in the ass; we always have two little humans and two companions of the four-legged variety underfoot.  It seems like we always bite off just a tiny bit more than we can chew.

Our life is a work in progress…  But isn’t it always?
